BIRDS

I hear the birds in my garden

I listen to their little songs of morning

We have a bird feeder in the garden

Feed the birds!

Birds over the rainbow

Teeny weeny dinky petite Blackbird

Blackbird is my favourite song

Orange beak as small as a tiny mouse

Inky feathers black as coal

Starlings

A murmuration over the sky

A sunset from the distance

Bright orange light

Making shapes

Seagulls chipping over the sky

Finding Nemo seagulls

Nicking food

All the food

Scrape some fish in their mouths

Magpie

Black and white

One of my favourite birds

Grey black beak

Picks up food

And makes a nest

Peacock

Pea green

Sea green feathers with light ultramarine eyes

Peacock thinks about how colourful he is

Owl

Twit twoo

Big yellow and black eyes

A look of depression

Soft springy malleable feathers

Flying in the forest

Looking for mice
