Box of tricks

What I need in the laboratory

A bunsen burner

With a scorching, searing

Fiery flame that flickers

I research on my laptop

I am a student

I am a field researcher

I look in my microscope

At small scale, pocket sized

Knee high things

I pour savage chemicals

And acid into beakers and test tubes

I have to wear gloves and goggles

My hair will be up

It will be threatening and menacing

And very dangerous

My Daddy P will be my partner

I will have particles through me

Scraps and sparks

And tiny pieces

I will need tongs

And a thermometer

For my investigations

My probes

I will make a force field

A magnetic field

An orbit

A charged particle

I will make a time machine

And go back to the past

The latter days

Way back when

To days gone by

And to the future

To the afterwards

In the course of time
