Van Gogh

Updated: Jun 12

In his self portrait his face shows a scowl

Makes a face, a death stare

He is feeling gloomy

Unhappy

In Starry Night he painted stars twinkling

Straw like

Sunshine

Sandy stars

The blue sky at night like an ocean

Swirls of paint

Cobalt

Indigo

Aquamarine

Shapes like dinosaur eggs

People in their houses

Sleeping the night

With dreams and wishes

He is hurt

His bandaged ear

He is thinking of the pain he feels

His head is throbbing

Stinging shooting pains

Stitches

His eyes glare

His eyes as green as a pine tree

Sunflowers

My favourite painting by Van Gogh

Sunflowers on the tree

Yellow as yellow sheets

Shining like egg yolks

As fresh as supermarket flowers

I think Van Gogh gave them to Amy in Doctor Who
